The biggest worry for overweight women 45+ years old?
US healthcare is fracturing, right when we will need it most.
My mom was a nurse so I was raised hearing patient stories, the stress of the nursing staff, the constant challenges.
It has gotten worse since my mom last walked the hospital floors. Now nurses are striking, healthcare access is getting harder, there are less providers for patients, it’s a mess.
Why you and I should care is that for 90% of my readers, who are women 45+ years old, the grace of youth is no more. This includes me as well ~ I’m right there with you.
When we were younger our bodies could withstand the abuse of being overweight, of yo-yo dieting.
When women reach middle age and beyond, overweight bodies become less forgiving.
In addition, the statistics are grim. Being overweight is a huge risk factor for preventable diseases.
Which is frustrating because it doesn’t have to be that way.
This newsletter is here to help you, and others like yourself, be the best you can be no matter your age. To take charge of your health.
You don’t want to depend on the healthcare system to fix something that could have been prevented.
It’s not too late to make a change - no matter how old or overweight you are.
